Parmesan Kohlrabi with Chops and Salad
Quick and easy kohlrabi dish that goes great with pork chops and salad.
Ingredients
- butter
- parmesan cheese (3/4 c.)
- pork chops, 1 lb
- peppers (optional - for salad)
- parsley
- cucumber (optional - for salad)
- lettuce
- kohlrabi
- radishes (optional - for salad)
Preparation
Season the chops. Sear the pork chops in butter or oil, then cover and reduce heat, cooking on simmer with about 1/4 c. of water.
Peel kohlrabi and shred with grater or food processor, or chop into matchsticks.
Saute the kohlrabi in butter over medium heat, stirring often, until tender, about 8 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper. Toss and cook just until the cheese melts about 1 minute.
Add parsley and serve immediately.
Assemble a leafy/veggie salad to accompany the chops and parmesan kohlrabi. Enjoy!
